Hi everyone, I hope you all are having a pleasant Tuesday so far! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday feature, by The Broke and the Bookish, is 10 characters I’d like to peek into their current lives after my journey with them ended with the books.
And as always, this is no particular order!
Harry, Ron, and Hermione
from the Harry Potter series
I’m sure this must be a popular choice this week. I know we got a pretty good ending that gave a glimpse of what their lives were after Voldemort, but I’d still like to check on them.
Macy and Wes
After the book, it pretty much was left open-ended as to how Macy changed her life and started living in the “now” and “forever.” So I want to see her progress with that. Plus, I wonder how Macy and Wes’s relationship have grown since then.
Suze, Jesse, and Jack
from The Mediator series
So apparently Meg Cabot is going to release a book about Suze’s life after the events in this series, which is exciting! I’m hoping Jack Slater is going to make some appearances in this since he was only a little boy in The Mediator.
from Ella Enchanted
To be honest, it’s been too long since I’ve read this. I do remember how she was no longer under the spell, so I guess I’d like to a glimpse Ella’s new independent life.
Elizabeth and Darcy
from Pride and Prejudice
Umm. There’s no particular reason other than because I can’t get enough of Elizabeth and Darcy??
Nana and Nana (Yes, there are two girls with the same name.)
Nana isn’t a finished manga, but it’s been 5 years since Ai Yazawa last updated it. She also happened to stop writing/illustrating right at a cliffhanger, and I have a feeling she’s never going to complete this. So I’m curious to see how both Nanas are doing.
from The Darkest Powers trilogy
I don’t have a real reason for this one as well. The trilogy concluded well, I just wonder how Chloe is after the events in these books.
Rose and Dimitri
from Vampire Academy series
I know there’s Bloodlines, and I’ve read 3 of the 6 books in that so far. However this couple doesn’t really appear that much in them, which is fine, but they were one of my top paranormal OTPs, so I’m curious to see how they’re doing as well.
from The Infernal Devices trilogy
Tessa makes some reappearances in The Mortal Instruments, but she’s immortal so I wonder how she’s fending with that…
from Going too Far
Also another book that had a nice resolution but still left things open for readers to interrupt.
