Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Characters You’d Like to Check in With

Hi everyone, I hope you all are having a pleasant Tuesday so far! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday feature, by The Broke and the Bookish,  is 10 characters I’d like to peek into their current lives after my journey with them ended with the books.

And as always, this is no particular order!

IMG_2645Harry, Ron, and Hermione

from the Harry Potter series

I’m sure this must be a popular choice this week. I know we got a pretty good ending that gave a glimpse of what their lives were after Voldemort, but I’d still like to check on them.

IMG_2641Macy and Wes

from The Truth About Forever

After the book, it pretty much was left open-ended as to how Macy changed her life and started living in the “now” and “forever.” So I want to see her progress with that. Plus, I wonder how Macy and Wes’s relationship have grown since then.

IMG_2643Suze, Jesse, and Jack

from The Mediator series

So apparently Meg Cabot is going to release a book about Suze’s life after the events in this series, which is exciting! I’m hoping Jack Slater is going to make some appearances in this since he was only a little boy in The Mediator.

from Ella Enchanted

To be honest, it’s been too long since I’ve read this. I do remember how she was no longer under the spell, so I guess I’d like to a glimpse Ella’s new independent life.

IMG_2647Elizabeth and Darcy

from Pride and Prejudice

Umm. There’s no particular reason other than because I can’t get enough of Elizabeth and Darcy??

NANA_vol1Nana and Nana (Yes, there are two girls with the same name.)

from Nana

Nana isn’t a finished manga, but it’s been 5 years since Ai Yazawa last updated it. She also happened to stop writing/illustrating right at a cliffhanger, and I have a feeling she’s never going to complete this. So I’m curious to see how both Nanas are doing.

from The Darkest Powers trilogy

I don’t have a real reason for this one as well. The trilogy concluded well, I just wonder how Chloe is after the events in these books.

IMG_2646Rose and Dimitri

from Vampire Academy series

I know there’s Bloodlines, and I’ve read 3 of the 6 books in that so far. However this couple doesn’t really appear that much in them, which is fine, but they were one of my top paranormal OTPs, so I’m curious to see how they’re doing as well.

from The Infernal Devices trilogy

Tessa makes some reappearances in The Mortal Instruments, but she’s immortal so I wonder how she’s fending with that…

from Going too Far

Also another book that had a nice resolution but still left things open for readers to interrupt.

What were on y’all’s list this week? And Happy Tuesday everyone! 🙂

I picked Suze and Elizabeth Bennet, too! I almost choose Rose & Dimitri but I’ve read all the Bloodlines, and they make some appearances, especially in the last book. So you should keep reading them! 🙂

Since there are upcoming sequels to The Mortal Instruments we may see more of Tessa, hopefully! I want to see more of Nana, too – I read that the hiatus was because the author was ill 😦 I hope that if/when she gets better, the series will be continued, but sometimes it’s hard after a long gap.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize she was sick! I agree, it may be hard to get back into the groove after 6 years, but I’m sure all of the readers wouldn’t mind as long as there is an ending. And I don’t know how I feel about Cassandra Clare’s new shadowhunter series, I didn’t really care for the characters when they appeared in last book of TMI… but yeah, I’ll be happy to see Tessa in them! 🙂

This pretty much goes for every Sarah Dessen book for me. Dessen always concludes them well, but I can’t help but be curious of how each character grows and changes after the events in the book!

I too picked the Harry Potter characters and Elizabeth Bennet. haha. They seem like popular choices! But who wouldn’t want to know more about them!

How could I forget about Luna?! I loved her quirks! And I’m going to continue our last conversation on here just because the threaded comments on that last one is getting ridiculously funny looking. 😛 For lack of space on this comment thingy my favorite animes are actually on this post I made: My absolute favorite is Skip Beat or Kamisama Hajimemashita though! AND WOW, I didn’t realize Old Codex is the group that made tracks for Free! And I HAVE listened to El Dorado, love that song! It was actually used as background music in one of the debut teaser videos, so it took 3 years for them to release that track! To be honest, I love Exo’s Exodus album! I’ll send you my favorite tracks in that email! 😀

Hi! Okay so I’m finally replying to your comment :). Also I saw in the comments section for the post about mangas/animes that you haven’t watched Cowboy Bebop!! You MUST watch Cowboy Bebop!! It’ is AMAZING!!! The soundtrack is also PHENOMENAL!! Anyways I’ll stop my fangirling about it now, but really it’s a must watch for all anime fans.

I believe the lead singer of Old Codex is the voice actor for Makoto in Free! lol. He does the voice for another character in Kuroku No Basuke.

Oh wow, 3 years to release a song! I’m guessing it was still in it’s kind of beta stages so to speak then?I have to listen to the whole album. I listened to Playboy and the beginning sort of made me laugh. It reminded me of All I Have To Give by Backstreet Boys. Ahhh those were the days lol. I’m looking forward to your email :).

For the longest time, I didn’t think that song would be released, but I’m so glad Exo added it to this album. And so true, this entire album reminds me of the 90s (like we’ve mentioned with N’ Sync, haha). AND REALLY? Okay then, the next anime I watch will be that one then! And nice, I don’t really notice voice actors… but I love Miyano Mamoru! He’s my favorite if I had to choose. If you thought Playboy was funny, listen to Lady Luck. The moaning kind of creeped me out and made me feel like I was listening to porn or something. I swear there is a lady sighing multiple times as well in that track. XD I’m working on that email right now, so it should be in your mailbox by tomorrow! Hope you enjoy the songs I included (some you may have listened to already though).

I sent you this reaction video on hangouts, that I think you might enjoy lol. Let me know what you think of Cowboy Bebop :D. I’m always excited when my friends watch it because I love it so much lol. I did listen to Lady Luck and yeah, I definitely had my headphones on while listening to that one lol. I’m not very familiar with Voice actor names, but I just looked up Miyano Mamoru and he did Rin’s voice from Free! which is an anime I adore lol. He’s done a lot of work and some I’m familiar with! Thanks again for the list Summer 🙂

I’ll keep you posted with everything! 🙂 And I’ll take a look at that link tomorrow (it’s currently 1 am where I live, just finished my last lab report of the semester, yippee), thanks for sending it to me! No problem, Savindi! I hope you and your friend enjoy listening to some of them. ^.^

I’d like to see Harry being lovey dovey…. getting together with Ginny came out of nowhere.
Nana is hopeless, and I’m okay not knowing the ending… it’s quite a depressing manga

Mr. darcy and Elizabeth…. oh, well. I’m sure Eluzabeth wlill still be calling him Mr. darcy , even in bed.

I agree, even though I liked Ginny, I found their progression with romance to be underdeveloped. And yes, Nana was so depressing for me, but I’m still so curious! Haha, I agree with our P&P OTP. Old habits die hard, I suppose.
